In 1993, during her prayer and meditation, Rhonda Maingot, the co-founder of the Living Water Community, received a clear message in her heart to start a television station. It would be called "TRINIDAD". With no experience or media training and no idea what that would entail, he brought together members of the community who, in her opinion, could contribute.
A random group gathered in obedience without knowing what the meeting would be about: some amateur photographers, some technically minded souls, some artists, a radio announcer, how or why they were invited, we will never know for sure, but this is where the seed of this communication ministry has been planted and it must have been fertile ground.
Trinity Television started with the broadcast of Holy Mass. It was a Sunday, March 7, 1993. The choir sang the opening song and the acolytes led the entrance procession. When Archbishop Anthony Pantin entered the picture, a voice shouted "Cut!" There was a technological "flaw" and His Excellency, known for his sense of humor, was visibly amused when he was forced to make his local Catholic television debut on "Take Two!"
For several years after that, through an agreement with FLOW, Trinity Television provided local content on the existing Catholic channel, Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN). Their in-house studio production has increased and many individuals and communities within the Church have helped to contribute and provide content.
