NASA TV airs various regularly scheduled, pre-recorded educational and public relations programming 24 hours a day on its different channels. Programs include "NASA Gallery," which features photographs and video from NASA's history; "Video File," which broadcasts b-roll footage for news and media outlets; "Education File," which provides special programming for schools; "NASA Edge" and "NASA 360", hosted programs that focus on different aspects of NASA; and "This Week @ NASA," which shows news from NASA centres around the country. The downlink frequency is 4000 MHz, horizontal polarisation, with a data rate of 38.86 Mhz, a symbol rate of 28.1115 Ms/s, and ¾ FEC. A Digital Video Broadcast DVB compliant Integrated Receiver Decoder IRD is needed for reception.
