Al Jazeera Balkans (AJB) is an international news broadcaster headquartered in Sarajevo, Bosnia, and Herzegovina, targeting the media markets of countries that were formerly part of SFR Yugoslavia. It is part of the Al Jazeera Media network.
The radio station broadcasts in “the common language spoken in Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Montenegro” (formerly commonly called Serbo-Croatian from 7.30 am to 3.30 am CET (start and end 30 minutes later on weekends), both of which are live, until recorded original and subtitled English programming by Al Jazeera.
On Al Jazeera English Live, the remaining hours are streamed simultaneously with a simple text error Gledate AJE (You are watching AJE) superimposed in the upper right corner of the screen. Al Jazeera Balkans is a partner channel of Al Jazeera Arabic and Al Jazeera English. The radio station broadcasts analytical materials and thematic broadcasts, as well as documentaries, live broadcasts, current events, business, technology, and sports events.
