Astro Arena is a Malaysian television station owned by Radio Televisyen Malaysia and Astro. It is the first 24/7 sports channel in Malay in Malaysia. This channel can be watched on channel 801 through Family Pack Astro. Launched on March 26, 2010, it was the idea of YB, the former Malaysian Minister of Youth and Sports. Astro Arena is a 4-in-1 channel that offers live local sports, comprehensive coverage of local and international sports news 7 days a week, informative magazine and information programs, and interactive audience engagement.
The channel provides 700 hours of live local sports a year, and the additional 2,000 hours of replays greatly increases the number of local sports available in the country.
