The Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministry (MFM) is a Pentecostal denomination founded in Yaba, Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria in 1989, and currently has churches in several countries. It was founded by Daniel Colavole Olukoya ("DKO"). Many publications on deliverance have been attributed to Olukoya, such as the popular prayer book known as The Prayer Bible.
Unlike several popular charismatic and Pentecostal-initiated African ministries promoting the prosperity gospel, the MFM leadership and its subordinate ministry, Battle Cry Ministries, emphasize the ministry of deliverance and prayer against demonic forces.
He teaches parishioners how to deal with ancestral spirits and the existence of hidden evil and spiritual forces that impede progress towards fulfilling their "destiny", as a result of which theology promotes practices dominated by prayer points to free people from these hidden forces.
