The parliamentary television of the German Bundestag is the internal television channel of the German Bundestag. Parliamentary television was set up after a Bundestag resolution of 1991 and broadcast as a parliamentary documentation channel in 1995.

 

All plenary debates as well as public meetings and committee hearings are broadcast live, uncommented and in full length. Parliamentary television can be received publicly on the Internet and via the internet-based TV offering "freenet TV connect" as well as in the digital cable network in Berlin and Cologne immunity and in the rules of procedure as well as in the Council of Elders of the German Bundestag go back to 1985.
