A24 (or America 24) is an Argentine television news channel. It is owned by América Multimedios, Grupo América.

The original start of its broadcasts was on April 15, 1993 at 7:00 am with the conduction of Roberto Maidana and Cecilia Laratro, under the direction of the journalist Eliseo Álvarez, screened by the Corporación Multimedios América. In 1994 he began to use the scenography simultaneously with América TV.

In 1996, it changed its logo for the first time and was renamed CVN Cablevisión Noticias. In 1999 it changed its design. In 2002 CVN changed its logo for the last time, copying the design of América Noticias. It closed on March 8, 2005 at 6:59 a.m. to transform America 24.

Its first broadcast took place on March 8, 2005 at 7:00 in the morning with the segment Good morning, America by journalists Franco Salomone and María Belén Aramburu.

The objective was to refound the news signal preceded by CVN, which in the last 5 years was being neglected by its previous managers, to the point of losing more and more hours of news and becoming a channel of varieties and general interest.

With the change in the holding company that owns América Multimedios, CVN is renamed América 24, and has once again become a news outlet.
