Multivisión is a Cuban television channel, broadcasts from Havana, 24 hours a day. Its programming is varied with an emphasis on canned programs from international television stations.
At first, it used the antennas of the "telecentres" located in all the country's provinces, including the special municipality of Isla de la Juventud, at times when they do not broadcast their own local programming.
In Havana, it broadcast on the Canal Habana frequency, which is why at that time it was truncated when the telecentre began its programming on Channel 27. Since the summer of 2009, and partly because of the inconvenience this caused to viewers, its signal became independent and transmitted through different channels depending on the locality.
From repeating its programming three times a day in television packages, it went to two and at present, it is continuous and only repeats at dawn, although the blocks dedicated to the child population of the morning shift are replaced at the end of the afternoon.
Almost all the programs are of foreign origin, prior agreement with companies such as CCTV, Discovery Channel, Disney Channel, DW-TV, Telesur, among others that allow free downloads over the internet, they only broadcast Cuban video clips of their own production, the documentary of the Saturday and a new segment for animated films produced by the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC) called "Cubanitos".
