Al-Hiwar (Arabic: الحوار) is an Arabic-language satellite television channel broadcasting from London. Al-Hiwar ("dialogue" in Arabic) was founded by a number of Arab intellectuals and business people from Great Britain and the Arab world.

The television station has been the target of several attempts at censorship; in May 2009 it was removed by Hotbird after repeated and deliberate disruption of its signals. This happened while the station was broadcasting interviews with Libyan opposition leaders in exile.

Al-Hiwar was unexpectedly withdrawn by the Egyptian satellite operator Nilesat in April 2008. This move came just weeks after the signing of the so-called "Principles for the Regulation of Satellite Television in the Arab World", unanimously adopted by the Arab League in 2008 at a meeting in Cairo on February 12, 2008. The Egyptian authorities and Nilesat however, denied that the new Arab media charter had anything to do with it.

In June 2008, Emirati authorities confiscated tapes and recordings at Dubai Airport from Al Hiwar journalists who were leaving for London after filming an episode of "Khaleeji Dimensions" dealing with national identity in the United Arab Emirates. The seized material was later sent to Al-Hiwar headquarters in London and the original schedule for the episode was postponed.
