Ariana Television Network (ATN) (Persian / Pashto: آریانا) is a private television network based in Kabul, Afghanistan. The channel was opened in 2005 by Afghan-American Ehsan Bayat (owner of an Afghan wireless company) and began broadcasting internationally the following year.
ATN is one of Afghanistan's leading TV channels broadcasting terrestrial in 33 of the country's 34 provinces. Viewers in Europe and North America can watch ATN broadcasts on Hotbird and Galaxy 25 satellites.
The channel opened in the summer of 2005 and has been broadcast internationally since 2006. A new logo was given to the channel in 2014. In the same year, its sister channel, Ariana News, went live and broadcast news all day long.
