BOL NEWS LIVE - The BOL Network (Urdu: بول نیٹ ورک) is a Karachi-based media conglomerate owned by Shoaib Ahmed Sheikh, who also served as CEO and Chairman of the media network. According to Declan, the Walsh Ball network was sponsored by a fake Axact diploma.
The media group was supposed to include television, digital media, film and theater, as well as digital media, but when Bol's parent company, Axact, was exposed as a chartered factory selling fake degrees, Pakistan's Electronic Media Regulatory Authority revoked its license that it had been awarded BOL and the network couldn't even start transmitting.
Pakistani journalist Kamran Khan was named editor-in-chief, but he left after the Axact scandal surfaced and said his conscience would not allow him to be associated with such a network.
