McClugage Bridge carries US Road 150 through Lake Upper Peoria and Lake Peoria on the Illinois River in the state of Illinois, USA. The official name of the bridge honors Peoria mayor David H. McClugage from 1937 to 1941. The passage actually consists of two bridges, one carrying the traffic to the west and the other carrying the traffic to the east.
The original span of the McClugage Bridge was designed in 1939 as a steel cantilever bridge to replace the Upper Free Bridge, an existing bridge along a narrow stretch of Upper Peoria Lake. II. Due to World War II, the bridge was not completed until 1948. South span was rehabilitated in 2000.
