ONE Championship is a mixed martial arts (MMA), grappling, kickboxing and muay thai promotion company from Singapore. It was founded on July 14, 2011 by businessman Chatri Sityodtong and former ESPN Star Sports top executive Victor Cui.

The promotion's first event was held on September 3, 2011 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium; since then, they have held more than 100 events throughout the Asian region. It is the largest MMA promotion company in Asia, backed by Singapore's GIC and Temasek Holdings, as well as ICONIQ Capital, Mission Holdings, Sequoia Capital and Greenoaks Capital. According to Nielsen, ONE is among the top 10 sports media properties in the world in terms of audience and engagement.

Some of its notable athletes on the roster include: Demetrious Johnson, Eddie Alvarez, Adriano Moraes, Christian Lee, Nieky Holzken, Andy Souwer, Angela Lee, Aung La N Sang, Eduard Folayang, Giorgio Petrosyan, Roman Kryklia, Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Andrei Stoica, Bogdan Stoica, Ismael Londt, Regian Eersel, Yodsanklai Fairtex, Kevin Belingon, Bibiano Fernandes, Roger Gracie, Brandon Vera, Shinya Aoki, Xiong Jingnan, Alain Ngalani and Ilias Ennahachi.

Chatri Sityodtong stated that his reasons for founding ONE were that he believed martial arts to be the "cultural treasure" of Asia, but there was no pan-Asian promotion to unite the continent. Unlike Western promotions, ONE's primary goal was to promote "values of integrity, humility, honor, respect, courage, discipline, and compassion."

On October 26, 2011, ONE announced the formation of the ONE FC network, an alliance of camps and promotions across the Asia and Oceania continents that allowed ONE to share wrestlers. The network includes the GLORY kickboxing promotion, which allowed Dream 18 & Glory 4 Tokyo to feature ONE fighters Shinya Aoki, Bibiano Fernandes and Melvin Manhoef. On March 31, 2012, ONE FC held their first women's fight during the War of the Lions at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

On January 13, 2015, the promotion announced that it would be changing its name to simply ONE Championship. According to Victor Cui, the name change was made primarily for linguistic and cultural reasons.
