Founded on January 1, 1989, the channel was linked to the ProSiebenSat.1 Media group owned by Haim Saban in 2003. ProSieben is Germany's second largest private television company. Most programs are self-produced, but also broadcast many American productions.
Their slogan is "We love to entertain you." (We love to entertain you) stop. Tom Cruise for Minority Report and Lost, Desperate Housewives, and The O.C. Before the broadcast of these programs, the actors of the TV series took part in the advertisements of the channel by saying the slogan.
